Support the mission
Every gift, of any size, keeps someone learning to draw.
The mission is to train young people and adults in mechanical drafting, piping, and AutoCAD Plant 3D. Give one computer or a dozen. Give a monitor, a part, an hour, or a check. There is no required quantity. A gift is not tax-deductible until the IRS determination letter arrives.
Where support goes
- Seats. CAD computers and laptops, whatever number you have, wiped and transferred in writing.
- The desk around them. Monitors, memory, drives, keyboards, mice, and power adapters.
- The class itself. A cash gift covers software licenses, upkeep, and materials.
- The public story. With your permission, the gallery can show that your organization helped keep the project going.
A useful workstation is often an Intel Core i7 or Ryzen 7 class machine, with 16 GB of memory or more and a dedicated graphics card. A smaller or older machine can still teach the 2D work. Tell us what you have. We will say honestly if it fits.
Samtech.edu Technical Education Foundation is an Ohio nonprofit. The IRS application is pending, so a gift is not tax-deductible yet. Volunteer time is not deductible.
